December 7th – Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day

Today is Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day — the 79th anniversary of “a date which will live in infamy.” Today, we remember the service, sacrifice and bravery of the patriots who were there that day, December 7, 1941.

In the our photo, of Pearl Harbor, you can see the USS Arizona Memorial hovering above the sunken ship. To the right of the Arizona is the Mighty Mo, the Battleship Missouri Memorial. To many, the view of these two battleships, positioned side-by-side, represent engagement and then peace – with the Arizona signifying the start and the Missouri hosting the victorious end.

We took the above photos on a doors-off helicopter tour of Oahu. In our video, you can view some aerial footage of Pearl Harbor.
