  1. SPACE Farmers Market on Saturday mornings in Lower Puna is absolutely a must! It’s a perfect start to the day, and within a few miles down the gorgeous Red Road from incredible snorkeling, natural hot ponds, and Kehena black sand beach. All products sold at SPACE are Big Island grown and made. It’s a great place to have local, organic breakfast, juice and coffee, pick up unique souvenir art by local artists, stock up on fresh fruits and veggies, get a massage…you name it. Annnd it’s located in the fabulously-built, high-ceilinged, open-air performing arts center that is home to the famous HICCUP Circus. (When you visit the market, you might even be able to schedule in attending a fire-spinning or acrobatic silks class while you’re in town…)
