I agree. The waves are usually not very big and there are a lot more visitors than locals out there. You’ll be learning along with everyone else.
Hi Kailani. Good point about learning along with other visitors. It seems like a less intimidating area to give surfing a try. Plus there are several instructors to hire to teach you how. I’ve only admired the Waikiki surfing from Dukes. One of these days I’m going to have to get my nerve up to try it.
It’s also one of the most fun places to learn to surf.
